Our Speech Language Pathologist chooses the schedule which works best for them. We have full and part-time Speech Language Pathologist opportunities. SLP Responsibilities

  • Manage a caseload of students and provide speech services regularly and consistently. Assist with addressing the compensatory backlog of services.
  • Provide consultation with teachers and parents as needed
  • Complete speech evaluations and make IEP recommendations for speech services
  • Attend ARD meetings
  • Maintain organized records of services provided
  • Provide progress reports for each student per grading period
  • Supervise one-two SLPA (not required)

Qualifications and Experience

  • Must possess a master’s degree (MA or M.S.) from an accredited institution
  • Must possess SLP licensure
  • 2-3 years of experience in a school setting is a plus but not required
  • Knowledge of diagnostic procedures, education of special education students, human development
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Demonstrated passion for students, especially those with disabilities
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Must possess a valid Driver’s License
